ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Cal Poly Humboldt’s Izaiah Grosveld has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 14-20.

Grosveld recorded three goals and one assist, totaling seven points across two matches. He contributed to all three goals in the 3-0 shutout over Menlo, scoring twice, including the game-winning goal and an assist. 

The sophomore from Arcata, Calif., erupted in the second half, scoring by a penalty kick in the 70th minute to give the Lumberjacks the lead. Just a couple of minutes later, he assisted a teammate finding the net, before finishing the match with a final goal in the 83rd minute. 

Grosveld now ranks fifth in shots (21)  and 10th in goals (3) in the CCAA. Click here to see the complete CCAA stats leaders.

Cal Poly Humboldt has now advanced to 2-3-3 on the season, and will travel down south to play Cal State San Bernardino on Friday at 12pm. On Sunday, the Lumberjacks will face Cal State Dominguez Hills to take on the Toros at 2pm
