Cal Poly Pomona’s Angelina Santana has claimed the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award, for the week of Sept. 14-20.

Santana made a significant two-way impact in last Friday’s 2-0 win over No. 25 Cal State LA as the CCAA Game of the Week on FloCollege. Santana anchored the Broncos defensive effort that produced a shutout while assisted on the game-winning goal.

The freshman midfielder from Whittier, Calif., then assisted on one of the goals in Cal Poly Pomona’s 4-1 win over San Francisco State on Sunday.
