STOCKTON, Calif. - Three teams are within four strokes of first place going into the final round of the 2026 CCAA Men’s Golf Championships, presented by Visit Stockton.
Cal State San Bernardino leads the field with a 574 (-2). The Coyotes shot a 282 (-6) on Monday and backed it up with a 292 (+4) on Tuesday. Chico State had the best round of the day as the team shot an even-par 288 to move to within three strokes of CSUSB. Cal State San Marcos posted a 290 (+2) after registering a 288 in the first round. The Cougars are one stroke back of Chico and four behind CSUSB.

Aaron Parayno and the Cougars’
Gavin McCormick are tied at the top of the leaderboard at 140 (-4). McCormick came into the round tied for the top spot with three other golfers. He held onto the lead through 36 holes by shooting a 4-under in the first round and even-par in the second round. Parayno matched Chico State’s
Giuseppe Aliotti and
Ty Weaver for the lowest round of the day with a 69 (-3).
Aliotti, Weaver, and
Naoki Easterday give Chico State three golfers in the top 10. Aliotti is fourth (-1) and Easterday fifth (E). CSUSM matched Chico with three (
Kai Miyata and
Liam Weaver). Miyata is third at -2 (70), and Weaver is tied for eighth (+1).
Kamron Hopson (t-eighth, 145) gives Cal State San Bernardino two in the top 10.
Tyler Price and
Marcos Lin are right outside, tied for 12th with 146s (+2).
Cal State Dominguez Hills’
Se Min Song is tied for fifth at even-par with Cal State East Bay’s
Oscar Blomqvist and Chico’s Easterday.
Payton Hendricks (t-eighth, 145) gives Cal State East Bay two in the top 10.
With the threat of impending weather throughout the day, the golfers began on split tees and got 6-12 holes in before the first lightning strike. The golfers were all pulled off the course for safety around 11:30 a.m., and play would not resume for 4.5 hours. A break in the weather around 4 p.m. allowed everyone to resume play at their marked balls.
The final round of the 2026 CCAA Men’s Golf Tournament presented by Visit Stockton will begin on Wednesday, Apr. 22, at 8 a.m. on hole 10.
