ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Five CCAA men's golf teams were listed among the 11 on the first official NCAA West Region rankings.
 
Cal State East Bay, Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State San Marcos, and Chico State are listed in alphabetical order in the first poll of the year.
 
The CCAA's five teams paced the region. The PacWest placed four on the list, and the GNAC had two. Click here to see the complete NCAA Regional rankings list.
 
The Under Consideration lists began in 2021. The first NCAA rankings of each year will be alphabetized. Two other regional rankings will be released in the coming weeks, before the seedings are announced on NCAA.com.
 
The West Region will combine with the South Central to compete in their regional championship on May 7-9 at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton, Calif.
