Pair of double-doubles lift Humboldt’s Jordyn Smith to FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

Cal Poly Humboldt’s Jordyn Smith has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 9-15.

Smith posted back-to-back double-doubles, averaging 18.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game to help the Lumberjacks secure a spot in the 2026 CCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. She shot .567 percent from the field and added nine blocks. 

The freshman from Tigard, Ore., began the week with a 19-point, 14-rebound, 5-block effort in a 101-63 win over Cal State East Bay. Smith then played all 40 minutes, scoring 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting while grabbing 11 rebounds and posting four blocks. 

She now ranks fifth in NCAA Div. II with 3.13 blocks per game and is 13th with 12 double-doubles. Smith is also pacing the CCAA with 10.7 rebounds per game and ranks sixth in scoring (13.9). Click here to see the list of CCAA Stat Leaders
