Cal Poly Humboldt’s Rob Jenkins has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 19-25. 

Jenkins averaged 17.5 ppg, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals on .647 percent shooting (11-of-17 FG) to help lead the Lumberjacks to a pair of home wins. 

On Thursday against Cal Poly Pomona, Jenkins scored a CCAA career-high 23 points as he went 7-of-10 from the field, 2-of-4 from 3-point range, and 7-of-8 from the free throw line in a four-point win (85-81). He added four assists and four steals (also a career-high). Then, on Saturday against Cal State San Bernardino, Jenkins scored 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out three assists. 

Jenkins now ranks second in the CCAA with 3.8 assists per game, and he is sixth in free throw percentage (.797). Click here to see the list of CCAA Stat Leaders.
