??LOS ANGELES – Stanislaus State head softball coach Aja Foiada was recognized on Saturday, January 17, as a recipient of the Alex Morgan Foundation Coaching Moms Grant in partnership with WeCOACH. The $10,000 grant honors college coaches who excel both professionally and as mothers.

The Coaching Moms Grant was launched in 2024 by the Alex Morgan Foundation to provide financial support, resources, and community for mothers in coaching, helping them continue their careers while balancing the demands of family life.

Coach Foiada was honored during The Goal Cup, a celebrity soccer match sponsored by Alex Morgan and Mia Hamm, celebrating women who have made an impact in sport.

Coach Foiada has consistently demonstrated excellence in balancing the responsibilities of leading the Stanislaus State softball program while embracing motherhood.

"Having this support is something I am so grateful for," said coach Foiada. "To be able to apply it to childcare support allows me to focus on coaching while also being there for my family."

Under coach Foiada's guidance, the Warriors softball program continues to grow competitively while fostering a positive and supportive team culture, reflecting her dedication to excellence in coaching and family.
