Otters’ Jaden Tengan earns his first career FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Jan 20, 2026 Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal State Monterey Bay’s Jaden Tengan has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 12-18. Tengan averaged 26.5 points per game on .594 percent shooting, including going 11-of-16 from 3-point range (.688 percent). The junior guard posted back-to-back 20-plus point performances to take over the CCAA scoring lead (17.9 ppg) from his teammate Michael Mora. He also had four assists, four steals, and five rebounds. The Sacramento native opened the week by scoring 27 points, which included going 6-of-7 from behind the arc, against the defending regional champions, Cal State Dominguez Hills. He followed up by hitting five more 3-pointers and scoring 26 points in 29 minutes in a win at Cal State LA. Tengan is now leading the CCAA with 17.9 points per game and ranks 11th with 2.7 assists per game, while playing the third-most minutes in the league (33.8 per game).
