Cal State LA’s Nevaeh Asiasi wins second FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week of 2025-26

Cal State LA’s Nevaeh Asiasi has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 5-11. 

The senior guard from Pittsburg, Calif., averaged 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 4.5 steals per game in two home wins. She went 22-of-43 from the field, shooting at least .500 percent in each game. 

Asiasi opened the week by leading her team to a 101-66 win at Stanislaus State. Asiasi scored 27 points on 11-of-22 shooting while dishing out seven assists, grabbing six rebounds, and recording four steals. She backed that up with a 25-point, five-rebound, seven-assist, five-steal performance at UC Merced. 

Asiasi is now leading the CCAA in scoring with 17.6 points per game. She is also fourth in rebounds (8.9), second in steals (2.54), and seventh in assists (3.8). Click here to see the list of CCAA Stat Leaders.
