Stanislaus State’s Malia Tanksley named the FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week Sep 30, 2025 Complete list of weekly winners >>> Stanislaus State’s Malia Tanksley has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 22-28, 2025. Tanksley averaged 2.0 blocks per set and helped hold both opponents under a .100 hitting percentage to help lead Stanislaus State to two wins. The sophomore opposite side hitter added 15 kills and two digs. The Sloughhouse, Calif., native opened the weekend with seven combined blocks, two digs, five kills, and 8.5 points in Friday’s sweep of Chico State. Tanksley followed with another strong outing against Humboldt, posting seven kills on a .235 hitting percentage, five combined blocks, and 9.5 points in Saturday’s sweep.
