Last week, Gamez tallied two goals on the week, contributing to a 3-0 win over MSU Denver and a 2-2 tie with Colorado School of Mines. In game one, the Broncos defeated MSU Denver with a strong performance from the junior forward as he scored his second goal of the season in the second half, doubling the lead with a header assisted by Miguel Gonzalez. On Sunday, September 21, the Broncos tied the game with Colorado School of Mines 2-2. Gamez attacked early in the seventh minute, finding the back of the net. All game, Gamez kept the pressure on the Mines’ defense with two shots on goal. Gamez leads the Broncos’ attack, tied for the team lead with three goals and 10 shots on target.
