Cal Poly Pomona’s Aleksandar Somov earns FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after he completed a hat trick.

Somov helped the Cal Poly Pomona team go 2-0-0 on the week with wins over Concordia (2-1) and Westmont (6-2).

Less than six minutes into the second half against Westmont, Somov found the back of the net for his first goal of the match. He added another in the 61st minute and completed his hat trick in the 90th minute of the match against the Warriors. 

This marks the Broncos’ 16th hat trick in program history and their first since 2022. It was also the fifth time in program history that they scored six goals in a single match.
