Chico State’s Naoki Easterday collects FloCollege/CCAA Golfer of the Week honors Apr 9, 2025 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Naoki Easterday of the Chico State men’s Golf Team has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Golfer of the Week. The junior earned Golfer of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after shooting a 12-under 204 to place third at the RJGA Men’s Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Ariz. Easterday went 3-under (69) in each of the first two rounds, before shooting a 66 (-6) in the final round to climb the leaderboard. He finished ahead of 10 nationally ranked golfers, and the only two he finished behind are ranked No. 5 and No. 6 in the country. Easterday’s efforts helped Chico State place second at the tournament with a 27-under 837. Like Easterday, the Wildcats only got stronger as the tournament progressed. They shot a 284 (-4) in the first round, before going 11-under (277) in the second round and 12-under (276) in the final round. Click here to see results from the tournament.
