Chico State’s Naoki Easterday triples down on FloCollege/CCAA Golfer of the Week honors Apr 16, 2025 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Chico State’s Naoki Easterday has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Golfer of the Week for the third consecutive week. Easterday finished tops among all CCAA men’s golfers in the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational with a 9-under 207. The junior from Portland was under-par in all three rounds, and he finished ahead of 12 golfers in the top 150 national rankings. Easterday led all scorers by shooting 4-under on the par-4s, and he led the tournament with 41 total pars. His efforts helped the Chico State men’s team finish second at the tournament at 16-under par (848), just two strokes behind the leaders. Click here to see results from the tournament. It is the first time since 2011-12 that a student-athlete has earned three consecutive CCAA Golfer of the Week awards. He joins Chico State’s Kyle Souza as the only two CCAA golfers to accomplish this feat dating back to 2003-04. Click here to see a complete list of past weekly award winners. This was the final tournament in the regular season for the Wildcats. They will now prepare for the CCAA Men’s Golf Tournament, April 21-23, at Sandpiper Golf Course in Santa Barbara.
