Jojo Murphy from Chico State has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 17-23.

Murphy led the Wildcats to a pair of critical road wins as Chico State kept its 2024-25 title hopes alive. The junior guard averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game to help Chico State knock off the defending CCAA Tournament Champions, Cal State LA, and No. 14 ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Murphy played a key role in securing the win over the Golden Eagles. He scored the final basket with a shot clock-beating jumper and finished with 22 points. Murphy's 23 points against the Toros helped keep them at arm's length, as they boast six straight wins.

The CCAA-leading scorer now averages 20.6 ppg with a pair of conference games remaining. Click here to see the list of CCAA Stat Leaders.
