Michael Mora from Cal State Monterey Bay wins his second FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award Dec 9, 2025 Complete list of weekly winners >>> For the second time this season, Cal State Monterey Bay’s Michael Mora has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. The sophomore guard/forward averaged 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in leading the Otters to their best eight-game start in program history (7-1). In a home-road showdown against Cal State San Marcos, Mora opened the week by scoring 24 points, grabbing four rebounds, and dishing out four assists. He went 7-of-12 from the field and 8-of-9 at the free throw line. The Cougars returned the trip to Monterey Bay on Saturday, and the Otters handed them an 82-75 loss. Mora recorded his first career double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Mora is now leading the CCAA with 18.9 points per game and is tied for fourth with 7.3 rebounds per game.
