Cal Poly Pomona’s Malcolm Bell shoots 74% from the field to win FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Dec 23, 2025 Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal Poly Pomona’s Malcolm Bell has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 15-21. Bell led Cal Poly Pomona to a pair of road wins over conference opponents by averaging 21.5 points per game on .739 percent shooting from the field. He also averaged 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. The junior guard from Diamond Bar, Calif., opened the week by scoring 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting at UC Merced. He hit two 3-pointers (2-of-3) and had five rebounds. In a five-point win over Stanislaus State (93-88) on Sunday, Bell went 8-of-10 from the field and 5-of-6 at the free throw line to match his season-high with 22 points. He dished out six assists and had two steals. Bell leads the CCAA and ranks 33rd in NCAA Div. II by shooting .593 percent from the field. This is the first career CCAA Player of the Week award for Bell, and it is the first for CPP since Demarreya Lewis-Cooper captured the honor early in the 2024-25 season.
