Christian Briseno, a forward for No. 10 Cal State Dominguez Hills (11-2-3, 7-0-2 CCAA), earned FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring the game-winning goal against top-ranked Stanislaus State, helping his team remain undefeated in conference play.
On Friday, Oct. 31, Briseno found the back of the net in the 12th minute, delivering the decisive goal to lift Cal State Dominguez Hills to a 1-0 win over No. 1 Stanislaus State (13-1-1, 7-1-1 CCAA) in the FloCollege/CCAA Game of the Week. His goal handed the Warriors their first loss of the season. The win marked the Toros’ eighth straight victory and clinched a first-round bye in the upcoming CCAA Tournament.
On Sunday, Nov. 2, the Toros closed the weekend with a scoreless draw against Cal State San Bernardino, maintaining their unbeaten record. Briseno’s lone goal of the weekend helped Cal State Dominguez Hills solidify its position atop the CCAA standings.

Cal State Dominguez Hills wraps up the regular season with an away game at Cal State East Bay on Thursday, Nov. 6, with kickoff scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in Hayward, Calif. The 2025 CCAA Men’s Soccer Championship begins with first-round matches on Sunday, Nov. 9, followed by the semifinals and finals on Nov. 14 and 16 at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside, Calif.
