Rob Jenkins from Cal Poly Humboldt has been awarded the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 17-23.

Jenkins averaged 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. He came up clutch down the stretch in two road contests to help Humboldt go 2-0 on the week.

In a one-point win over Northwest Nazarene, Jenkins scored 12 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out five assists. He also sank two late free throws to help the Lumberjacks seal the game.

Then, in a double-overtime win against Jessup, Jenkins dropped 28 points and extended the game to overtime twice, eventually playing a massive role in the win. Humboldt trailed late in regulation before Jenkins drilled a clutch three-pointer with four seconds left to force overtime. After both teams traded blows through the first extra period, Jenkins struck again—this time with a driving layup in the final second—to send the game to a second overtime. He sank the final three free throws in double OT to put the game away.

Jenkins ranks fifth in the CCAA in points per game (17.3), fourth in assists per game (3.8), and he leads the conference in free throw attempts (29). Click here to see the list of CCAA Stat Leaders
