Michael Mora of Cal State Monterey Bay has earned the honor as the season’s first FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

The sophomore guard from Palo Alto scored 16 points and grabbed five boards in the Otters’ 86-67 win over Western Oregon to begin the 2025 campaign. Saturday night, against No. 15 ranked Central Washington, Mora netted a career-high 29 points to help his team out-gun the Wildcats 92-88. Mora was 12 of 18 and made three three-pointers in the win over CWU. Mora slammed home two of his points with 46 seconds left to play that gave the Otters a 10-point lead.
