Olivia Hohnstein of Chico State has earned the season’s final FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award with her performance on Thursday.

Hohnstein scored two second-half goals on Decision Day as Chico State played Cal Poly Humboldt to a 3-3 draw in a dramatic regular-season finale. Her heroic performance helped keep the Wildcats’ title hopes alive until the thrilling finish between Cal Poly Pomona and CSUSB in San Bernardino played out.

With her team trailing 3-1, the junior midfielder from Santa Rosa scored twice within about 12 minutes to even the score. Hohnstein got Chico State within one goal in the 57th minute with a blast past the goalkeeper before finding the net again in the 69th minute.

Hohnstein, who is second on the team with four goals, is part of the strong Chico State offense, which is tied for third in the CCAA with 27 goals. Click here to see the complete CCAA stats leaders
