Cal State Monterey Bay’s Alex Cooke has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Golfer of the Week. (Oct. 22)

Cooke shot an even-par 216 over three rounds at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate on the Kohala Coast in Hawaii. The Spokane, Wash., native opened the tournament by posting an even-par 72. He followed by going 3-under in the second round, before closing out play with a 75 (+3).

The junior finished the tournament tied for the lead in par-3 scoring (-1) and was tied for fifth in par-5 scoring (-6). His 13 total birdies placed him in third. Click here to see results from the tournament. 

Cooke’s efforts helped Cal State Monterey Bay claim the team title on a playoff hole over Hawaii Hilo. Both teams posted 879s (+15).
