Kacie Caoili from Cal Poly Pomona captures FloCollege/CCAA Setter of the Week

Cal Poly Pomona’s Kacie Caoili has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Setter of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19. 

Caoili had 101 assists in CPP's two wins this week, guiding the offense with 12.63 assists per set. She added three aces and 22 digs (2.75 digs per set).

In Friday’s showdown between teams with perfect CCAA records (8-0), Caoili had three blocks and 49 assists in the win over Cal State LA to claim sole possession of first place. On Saturday, she added a career-high 17 digs against Cal State Dominguez Hills to record her third double-double. 

The freshman from San Jose, Calif., leads the CCAA and ranks 11th in the NCAA with 11.0 assists per set. Click here to see the complete CCAA leaderboard

Cal Poly Pomona will face two tough opponents at home this week as it tries to keep its undefeated conference record intact. CPP will host Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday, Oct. 23, and Cal Poly Humboldt on Saturday, Oct. 25. Both matches will be available on FloCollege.
