Cal State LA’s Raye Duarte has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19.

Duarte ran a time of 26:20.6 at the UCR Highlander Invitational to place 26th, 19th among all collegiate runners. He posted the top place of any CCAA student-athlete on the weekend.

The junior from Apple Valley, Calif., is the first Golden Eagle to earn CCAA Men’s Runner of the Week honors since Moises Marquez in 2021. Click here for the history of CCAA Player of the Week awards.
