Perfect opening week for CPP nets Caitie Mueller CCAA Setter of the Week honors Sep 24, 2024 Complete list of weekly winners >>> Caitie Mueller from Cal Poly Pomona has been named the CCAA Setter of the Week for the week of Sept. 16-22. Mueller averaged 12 assists per set in helping guide the No. 11 Broncos to wins over No. 19 Cal State San Bernardino and San Francisco State. CPP was one of only two teams to open CCAA play undefeated. In the conference opener against CSUSB, Mueller had 45 assists in a four-set win as the Broncos recorded a .257 hitting percentage. Against SF State, CPP hit .268 as Mueller dished out 39 assists in three sets. Cal Poly Pomona is now 8-1 on the season and tied for the top spot in the CCAA standings with Stanislaus State (2-0). The senior from San Clemente is now second in the CCAA and 29th in NCAA Div. II with 10.31 assists per set. She is one of only two CCAA student-athletes average double figures.
