John Wade III caps junior season with CCAA Player of the Week honors Mar 2, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Stanislaus State’s John Wade III was named the CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the final week of the 2023-24 season. Wade registered his first double-double of the season with a career-high 31 points and 11 rebounds. He recorded two steals and had just one turnover in 30 minutes. The junior transfer missed just three shots on the night, going 12-for-15 from the field, including 3-for-6 from 3-point range. Wade was also perfect on his four attempts from the free throw line and was +18 in plus/minus during the Warriors' Senior Night victory. Wade completed his season averaging 12.3 points and 5.5 rebounds. He also led Stan State in assists (65) and was 11th in the CCAA in steals (36). This is his first career CCAA Player of the Week award for Wade III and the first for Stanislaus State in 2023-24.
