Chico’s Meadow Aragon posts double-double en route to winning the FloCollege/CCAA Player of the Week award Dec 3, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Chico State’s Meadow Aragon has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 25-Dec. 1. Aragon helped lead the Wildcats to a win over Cal Poly Humboldt in its 2024-25 CCAA opener with a career-high 26 points. The senior from Nevada City, Calif., went 10-for-13 from the field and secured a season-best 10 rebounds to post her first career double-double. She added a steal three blocks, and she went 6-of-10 at the free throw line. With her 10-rebound effort, Aragon now ranks 10th in the CCAA with 6.5 rebounds per game. This is the first career CCAA Player of the Week award for Aragon, and it marks the first time a Wildcats’ frontcourt player has earned the award since Monnie-Davidson Mays in January of 2013.
