Chico State’s Jojo Murphy earns FloCollege/CCAA Player of the Week Dec 17, 2024 Share: Jojo Murphy from Chico State has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 9-15. Murphy went 11-of-16 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, to score a team-high 26 points and lead Chico State to a 93-81 win over Cal Poly Humboldt. He added five rebounds, six assists, and a steal. The Oakland native now leads the CCAA with 20.1 points per game. He also leads the conference in minutes (34:57) and is fifth in assists (3.9). The Wildcats will have only one non-conference match between now and Jan. 2. They will face Pacific Union on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m., before beginning their holiday break.
