SF State’s Tamiya Wilson repeats as the FloCollege/CCAA Offensive Player of the Week

Coming off the conference and national player of the week honors, San Francisco State’s Tamiya Wilson has once again been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. (Nov. 5)

Wilson averaged 5.67 kills and 7.0 points per set in a pair of Gator wins as they kept pace in the CCAA standings. SF State remains just two games back of first place. Wilson added two blocks, six aces, and 15 digs to go along with her 35 total kills.

On Thursday against Chico State, Wilson had 18 points and eight digs in a sweep. Then on Saturday, she had 17 kills, seven digs and four aces as SF State clinched a spot in the upcoming 2024 CCAA Volleyball Tournament, Nov. 21-23 in Pomona, Calif. 

Wilson is ranked third in the CCAA and 11th in NCAA Div. II with 4.25 kills per set. She is also fourth in the conference in hitting percentage (.299) and aces (0.49). Click here to see the complete CCAA leaderboard.
