Stanislaus State’s Jeremiah Jones didn’t miss many shots last week as he has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Jones shot 74 percent from the floor in leading the Warriors to two wins at the Ron Logsdon Challenge at Rohnert Park. Jones started the weekend with a career-high 33 points on 13 of 15 shooting (87 percent) in Stan State’s 94-88 victory over Western Oregon. His only two misses were from beyond the arc and was 11-for-11 on two-point tries.

The senior guard from Vacaville followed it with a 17 point game on 7-for-12 shooting including two treys. In two games, he also had nine rebounds, six assists and four steals.

Jones is fourth in the CCAA scoring (19.8 ppg) and his seasonal 63.0 field goal percentage is second best so far. Click here to see CCAA Statistics Leaders 

Stanislaus State began the season 3-1 and will play an exhibition game on Wednesday at Saint Mary’s before hosting UC Merced on Saturday.
