Ashley Robinson wins back-to-back FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week awards

For the second consecutive week, Cal State San Bernardino’s Ashley Robinson has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week (Nov. 11-17).

Robinson registered two double-doubles while averaging 5.0 kills, 5.33 points, and 2.78 digs per set during the week. She performed her best against No. 3 Cal Poly Pomona, ending the Broncos’ perfect conference season.

Robinson posted a double-double against the CCAA leaders with 21 kills and 14 digs. She had a .353 hitting percentage while adding three blocks. The senior from Tucson, Ariz., finished the week with 24 kills and 11 digs in a five-set match against Cal State San Marcos. 

Robinson is now sixth in NCAA Division II with 4.70 kills per set and 5.32 points per set. She is seventh in total kills (442). Click here to see the complete CCAA leaderboard.

Cal State San Bernardino earned the No. 5 seed in the CCAA Volleyball Tournament. It will play No. 4 seed Cal State LA in the first round on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. All matches in the tournament will be available on FloCollege. Visit GoCCAA.org/FloCollege for more information.
