With a huge game on Saturday, Andrew Henderson of Cal State San Bernardino has earned honor as the first FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for 2024-25 season.

Henderson became just the fourth CCAA player since 2020 to score 40 or more points in a game on Saturday when he put up 40 in CSUSB’s lopsided 101-64 win over Western Oregon. The senior from Chatsworth shot 13-for-18 from the field including five three-pointers and converted on 9 of 10 free throws. He also pulled 10 rebounds with three assists, a steal and blocked two shots. 

Henderson is the first CCAA player to score 40 or more points since Jeremey Dent-Smith of Cal State Dominguez Hills posted 41 last Jan. 25, 2024.

CSUSB, which has already played five games, has won four straight games to improve to 4-1. The Coyotes next play at Biola on Thursday.
