Cal State San Bernardino’s Hunter George was voted as this week’s FloCollege/CCAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a pair of goals.

George notched the brace in the Coyotes’ 3-3 draw on Friday and drew a penalty that led to CSUSB’s lone goal on Sunday against Cal State LA. CSUSB picked up a pair of ties and is now 4-2-6 and 2-1-3 in conference play.

Versus CSUDH, the senior forward from Mission Viejo, Calif., scored the game’s first goal. Then with the match at 2-2, he put the team ahead in the 56th minute before the Toros even up the score late in the match. Against No. 2 ranked Cal State LA, George drew a penalty that led to a Brian Castillo equalizer.

George ranks tied for fourth in the CCAA with 2.70 shots per match. He’s taken 27 shots in 10 matches. As a team, CSUSB is the fourth best scoring team with 22 goals this season. Click here to see the complete CCAA stats leaders
