Madison Murr’s eighth career Golfer of the Week Award ties her second in CCAA history Oct 2, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Madison Murr of Cal State San Marcos has been named the CCAA Women’s Golfer of the Week (Sept. 25-Oct. 1). Murr collected her eighth career CCAA weekly honor after placing second at the WT D2 West Regional Preview at the Tascosa Golf Course in Amarillo, Texas. She shot a 213 (-1) over the three rounds to finish second on the leaderboard. The senior opened play by shooting a tournament-best 6-under par (65) to take over the top spot on the leaderboard. She followed up with rounds of 72 (+1) and 75 (+4) to finish as one of only two golfers to shoot under par on the 2025 regional course. Her efforts helped Cal State San Marcos finish third with an 888 (+36), one stroke ahead of No. 1 nationally ranked DBU. Click here to see the complete results.
