Chico State’s Travis Miller wins first Golfer of the Week award of 2024-25 Oct 2, 2024 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Travis Miller of Chico State has been selected as the CCAA Men’s Golfer of the Week after leading the Wildcats in the first two tournaments 2024-25 season. Miller opened the week by shooting a 3-under 213 to tie for fourth at the Bishop Invitational, hosted by Saint Martin’s. He then went north to the Western Washington Men’s Invitational and fired another 213 (-3) to tie for 11th. The senior shot at par or better in five of the six rounds, with a low of 68 (-4) in the final round of the Bishop Invite. Miller helped lead the Wildcats to an eighth-place finish at the Bishop Invite and third place at the WWU Men’s Invite as Chico State faced many of the region’s top teams to start the season. This is the first career Men’s Golfer of the Week award for Miller. Click here to see a complete list of weekly winners.
