Chico State’s Travis Miller wins first Golfer of the Week award of 2024-25

Travis Miller of Chico State has been selected as the CCAA Men’s Golfer of the Week after leading the Wildcats in the first two tournaments 2024-25 season. 

Miller opened the week by shooting a 3-under 213 to tie for fourth at the Bishop Invitational, hosted by Saint Martin’s. He then went north to the Western Washington Men’s Invitational and fired another 213 (-3) to tie for 11th. The senior shot at par or better in five of the six rounds, with a low of 68 (-4) in the final round of the Bishop Invite. 

Miller helped lead the Wildcats to an eighth-place finish at the Bishop Invite and third place at the WWU Men’s Invite as Chico State faced many of the region’s top teams to start the season.
