SF State's Kimberly DeBoer collects first CCAA Setter of the Week award of 2023 Sep 5, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> The first CCAA Setter of the Week honors of the 2023 season goes to San Francisco State’s Kimberly DeBoer. The junior from Murrieta averaged a CCAA-best 10.64 assists per set while leading the Gators to a 3-1 record at the Colorado School of Mines Classic. She helped lead SF State to an upset over No. 22 and host Colorado Mines with 36 assists and 10 digs. DeBoer posted a CCAA match-best 53 assists in a five-set win over Fort Hays State and added her third double-double of the weekend with 10 digs. The junior also finished her weekend with 10 kills and three services aces en route to earning her third career CCAA Setter of the Week honor. San Francisco State will compete in the Cal Poly Pomona/Azusa Pacific Tournament starting on Thursday, Sept. 7. They will face four regional opponents before opening CCAA conference play on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Cal Poly Humboldt.
