Brandon Lee scored two game-winners as he led Cal State Dominguez Hills to a pair of wins, earning him this week’s Pixellot/CCAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award.

Lee, who had two goals and an assist for five points, came up big Thursday night against Western Oregon. After WOU rallied to tie the match 2-2 with two second half goals, Lee booted in the game-winner with 45 seconds left to play for the victory. The sophomore midfielder had assisted on the team’s first goal, by Jhoel Sarraude, in the 10th minute. 

Saturday against Westmont, Lee, who is from nearby Torrance, scored the first of two CSUDH goals in the 2-0 win on Saturday.

Lee, who redshirted in 2022, had scored five goals with two assists in 17 matches as a freshman in 2021.

Cal State Dominguez Hills (2-0-1) will travel to face Point Loma on Thursday in San Diego.
