Mia Golovich of Sonoma State picks up Women’s Golfer of the Week nod Mar 8, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Sonoma State’s Mia Golovich was the top CCAA finisher this week, and she has been selected as CCAA Women’s Golfer of the Week for March 1-7. Golovich placed third at the Cal State San Marcos Fujikura Invitational with a four-over par 148 total over two rounds. The tournament was held at Shadowridge Country Club in Vista. The freshman from Lake Elsinore was four strokes back of winner Alli Kim of Point Loma. Golovich had a tournament-best eight birdies, including five in Monday’s first round when she shot an even 72. The Sonoma State Seawolves finished 10th as a team with Cal State Monterey Bay taking the team title. SSU will be at the Pack Classic in Pueblo, Colo., March 19-20, for its next outing.
