Stanislaus State’s Alexis Brewah earns her second Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award

Alexis Brewah of Stanislaus State has been named Pixellot/CCAA Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for, Oct. 30-Nov 2nd. 

Brewah scored two goals in Stanislaus State’s final regular season match against Chico State. The Warriors won the game 2-0 and clinched a CCAA playoff spot.

Her first goal came in the 16th minute of the game by tapping in a deflected shot from her teammate. This goal put Stanislaus up 1-0 before the half. In the 58th minute, Brewah put the Warriors up 2-0, scoring an unassisted goal after the ball got through Chico’s backline. 

The senior from Stockton, Calif. recorded a team-leading eight goals and a conference- leading nine assists for the Warriors this season. She leads the conference in assists, points, and shots. She is in the top 10 for shots on goal, goals, and game-winning goals. 

This is Brewah’s second career CCAA Player of the Week award. Her first Player of the Week Award came in the beginning of the 2022 season. 

Stanislaus State (5-2-4) plays in the first round of the CCAA Championships against Cal Poly Humboldt on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
