Cal State LA’s Nicole Flennaugh was prolific on offense as she has been named  the CCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, for the week of Nov. 20-26.

Flennaugh scored a season-high 25 points to lead the Golden Eagles to a 79-75 road win at No. 24 Azusa Pacific last Tuesday. She shot 62 percent from the field on 8 of 13 shooting. As the CCAA career-leader in three-pointers, Flennaugh made five of seven from beyond the arch for 71 percent. 

The senior guard from Portland, Ore., also had three assists, two rebounds and was 4-for-4 from the free throw line to lead Cal State LA. 
This is the two-time All-CCAA selection’s second player of the week award.

The Golden Eagles improved to 3-1 and will begin CCAA play this week at Cal State San Marcos (Thursday) and at Sonoma State (Saturday).
