Kimberly DeBoer’s 63-assist performance leads her to Setter of the Week honors Nov 14, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> For the third time this season, San Francisco State’s Kimberly DeBoer has been selected as the CCAA Setter of the Week. (Nov. 6-12). The junior from Murrieta was at the center of two wins for the Gators as they claimed the No. 3 seed in the upcoming CCAA Volleyball Tournament. It matched the highest seed SF State has received in the tournament's eight years. DeBoer averaged 12.11 assists per set to go along with six aces and 14 digs. In a key, four-set win over Sonoma State, DeBoer had 46 assists to go along with seven kils, two kills and four aces. She followed it up with a 63-assist performance in front of the home fans against Cal Poly Humboldt. The 63 assists were a CCAA season-high for any student-athlete. She was the only setter to eclipse the 60-assist mark this season and her 63 assists are five more than any other student-athlete. DeBoer also has the most assist in any four-set match this season (55). She finished the regular season as the CCAA leader in assists (10.78). Click here to see the complete CCAA stats.
