SF State's Trinity Yates wins Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week honors Oct 31, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> San Francisco State’s Trinity Yates was selected as the CCAA Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 23-29. The junior middle blocker hit .543 percent with 28 kills, and just three errors in two Gator wins. In an upset of No. 23 Cal State LA, Yates had a career-high 18 kills (4.5 per set) while hitting at .593 percent. She closed out the week with a 10-kill performance over Cal State Dominguez Hills. The victories moved SF State into a tie for third in the CCAA at 10-4. It is two games back of first place with four matches remaining in the regular season.
