Cougars' Tori Goff named CCAA Setter of the Week

Tori Goff of Cal State San Marcos has been selected as the CCAA Volleyball Setter of the Week for Sept. 25-Oct. 1. 

Goff was the quarterback of the Cougars this weekend, leading them to two CCAA wins, including three come-from-behind set wins for a sweep over Stanislaus State. She averaged a CCAA-best 12.86 assists per set as CSUSM posted two of its top 5 single-match hitting percentages of the season (.215 and .271). Goff completed the week with 90 assists, 13 digs, three kills, two blocks, and two aces. 

The Salida native opened the week by matching her season-high with 51 assists against Chico. She added 39 assists more in the sweep over Stan State. Goff also had eight digs and two solo blocks in the match. 

Goff now ranks third in the CCAA with 9.25 assists per set. She is also second with 25 aces. Click here to see the complete CCAA stats

Cal State San Marcos (6-8, 4-2 CCAA) will continue conference play this week as it travels to Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday (Oct. 5) and to San Francisco State on Saturday (Oct. 7).
