Cal State LA’s Emily Elliott has been voted the CCAA Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1.

The 6-2 right-side hitter averaged 5.14 kills and 6.21 points per set to lead Cal State LA to a pair of conference wins, including a No. 12 Cal State San Bernardino. Elliott totaled 36 kills with a .338 hitting percentage. She added 13 digs, seven blocks, and two aces.

In the four-set win over CSUSB, Elliott registered a double-double with 18 kills and 11 digs to go with a team-leading three blocks. The Costa Mesa native stepped up when the Golden Eagles needed it most, registering five of her 18 kills in the final set. She had the game-winner to complete the set comeback and match victory.

Elliott matched her 18-kill total in just three sets in Saturday’s match against Cal State San Marcos. She hit .371 with three aces and four blocks. This was Elliott’s 22nd consecutive match with double-figure kills, dating back to last season.

The Costa Mesa native now ranks 20th in the NCAA with 4.66 points per set. She is second in the CCAA in total kills (212) and third in kills per set (3.93). Click here to see the CCAA leaders
