Yotes Marlee Nunley repeats as CCAA Setter of the Week Oct 24, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> For the second consecutive week, Cal State San Bernardino’s Marlee Nunley has been named the CCAA Setter of the Week for the week (Oct. 16-22). Nunley averaged 12.2 assists per set in a pair of sweeps for CSUSB. The senior from Murrieta totaled 73 assists, 15 digs, and four blocks with eight kills on a .471 hitting percentage. Against Chico State, Nunley posted 35 assists, nine digs and six kills. The next day, versus Stanislaus State, she registered her ninth straight game with at least 30 assists. She dished out 38 helpers to go with six digs, two kills, and an ace. Nunley’s performance moved her up two spots to No. 5 in the CCAA rankings for assists per set (8.29). The victories helped No. 8 Cal State San Bernardino keep pace with No. 23 Cal State LA as the Yotes remain one game back in the CCAA standings with a 10-2 record (17-3 overall). The teams will meet on Saturday, Oct. 28, in San Bernardino, two days after hosting Cal State Dominguez Hills on Thursday, Oct. 26.
