Cal Poly Pomona’s Jasper Winslow has snagged this week’s Pixellot/CCAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals.

Winslow, a defender on the No. 12-ranked Broncos team, converted on two penalty kicks in a 2-0 win at San Francisco State last Friday. The junior from Los Angeles then scored the eventual game-winner at No. 22 Cal State Monterey Bay in Sunday’s 3-1 victory.

In a scoreless match at SF State, Winslow knocked in a PK in the 66th minute and made another less than two minutes later from the dot. At CSUMB, Wnslow made the score 2-0 with a 28th minute goal before the Otters answered in the second half.

Cal Poly Pomona improved to 5-1-2 in league play (9-1-4 overall) to keep pace with front-runner Cal State LA (7-1-0 CCAA), which has already clinched a CCAA Tournament berth. The Broncos are home this week with matches versus Cal State East Bay (Friday) and Cal State San Marcos (Sunday).
