Yotes' Marlee Nunley collects her first Setter of the Week award of 2023 Oct 17, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> Cal State San Bernardino’s Marlee Nunley has been named the CCAA Setter of the Week for the week of Oct. 9-15. Nunley had 73 assists, nine blocks and five aces as the Yotes won two matches over San Francisco State, whom they were tied with for second place in the standings entering the weekend. The senior averaged 9.5 assists, 1.56 points and 1.13 blocks over eight sets. In Thursday’s home match, Nunley had four aces and four blocks to go along with 36 assists. She also just missed a double-double as she registered nine digs. The Murrieta native backed it with a 40-assist, seven-dig effort on Saturday to help CSUSB extend its winning streak to five matches. Cal State San Bernardino is second in the CCAA standings at 8-2 (15-3 overall). They will go on the road this week to face Chico State (Oct. 20) and Stanislaus State (Oct. 21).
