Kim started out with a 75 in round one on Monday before a 72 afternoon round. He was red hot on Tuesday, hitting birdies in five of the back nine. In all, Kim recorded 16 birdies and 27 pars in the tournament.

He shared CCAA Golfer of the Week honors last week with Easton Hether of Cal State East Bay, each finishing atop of the leaderboard at the Wildcat Classic in Chico.

Cal State San Bernardino will hit the links at Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Course in Seaside next week at the Otter Invitational.
