SF State's Kimberly DeBoer named CCAA Setter of the Week Oct 10, 2023 Share: Complete list of weekly winners >>> San Francisco State’s Kimberly DeBoer has been voted the CCAA Setter of the Week for the second time this season. (Oct. 2-8) The junior from Murrieta dished out 95 assists over two matches as the Gators picked up a pair of victories, including a sweep over No. 13 Cal Poly Pomona. With DeBoer at the helm, SF State hit .346 over the two matches. She added 15 digs, four blocks, three kills, and two aces. Against Cal Poly Pomona, who came into the match unbeaten in CCAA play, she had 40 assists and eight digs over in three sets. She followed it up with a 55-assist effort on Saturday against San Marcos. It was the second-most assists recorded in a single, four-set match this season in the CCAA. DeBoer leads the conference and ranks 20th in NCAA Div. II with 10.42 assists per set. Click here to see the complete CCAA stats. San Francisco State is tied with Cal State San Bernardino and Cal Poly Pomona for second place in the CCAA at 6-2. The Gators will face Cal State San Bernardino twice this week. They will first meet in San Bernardino on Thursday before playing again in San Francisco on Saturday.
