Cal Poly Pomona’s Caitie Mueller is the Volleyball Setter of the Week once again, this time for the week of Sept. 12-18.

The sophomore from San Clemente dished 113 assists (11.3 assists per set) in three matches as she led the No. 25 ranked Broncos to wins over Azusa Pacific and a pair of conference victories over Cal Poly Humboldt and Sonoma State.

Mueller recorded 48 assists against APU last Tuesday for her fourth 40-plus assists match this season. She also notched a double-double with 29 assists and 10 digs against Cal Poly Pomona on Friday. Mueller would add 36 more assists in the team’s win over SSU.

Mueller added 20 digs, eight assisted blocks, seven kills and two service aces to her totals. She continues to lead the conference in assists per set, now at 10.50.

Cal Poly Pomona (10-1) has now won 10 straight matches and will make the short trips this weekend at Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State LA.
